Sempai McGavin and Ms Doris Danielsen have been invited to dan testing at the honbu dojo on the 28th of Jan 2012. It is good for our organization to grow and to have more Black Belts, especially women. Be sure to wish them good luck!!
The IMA North Fork Karate Championship held on October 22, 2011 was considered a great success by everyone who participated. We would like to send out a big thank you to all our volunteers, scorekeepers, judges and referees as well as all the competitors who came. Good job!

Some of the younger, NFK generation!
Last Saturday was beautiful – dry and warm. We karate-ka sure know how to enjoy that, by going to the dojo and working out! The 20th of August was super special because Hanshi made it up here again to our little town and gave three great and insightful seminars.
The first youth seminar was well received as we worked on sparring techniques and footwork. The kids had great, big smiles on their faces by the time they left.
